Olivia Pope: Work Chic Inspired Look!

So today’s look was inspired by Olivia Pope from Scandal played by Kerry Washington. I think she’s a gorgeous lady, and I love her style on the hit tv show. I think this is by far one of my favorite looks for winter. It’s so chic and gives that business woman look. I think every woman should have a business attire section in her closet for work, meetings, special speaking engagements, and so on…..

Well, I noticed that I didn’t own one single professional blouse, pants, or a skirt that was length appropriate. I had a few Calvin Klein dresses, but that wasn’t enough to complete my professional business attire look. In the past, I would wear them for interviews or church. So, I decided to treat myself for Christmas, and buy something I actually needed. I waited after the holidays to catch the end of the year sales. I’m glad I did because I was able to buy several blouses, skirts, and pants at a fraction of the retail price.

F.Y.I use the retail me not app when shopping to catch sales and coupons online. I hope you enjoy this look, and if you would like more Olivia Pope or Work Chic looks, please leave a comment. Work clothes don’t have to be boring, and I’m here to show you can look stylish on a budget. Happy Reading!!!!
