Over the last couple of months, I have been trying to figure out how can I continue doing more of what makes me happy in life without seeming scattered all over the place. There is so much I want to do in life, but how can I focus on one thing at a time and execute it. Well, I decided to write down my monthly goals, and only worry about the current month goals. While eating some yummy tacos at Bartaco (I.G. @bartaco), I decide to revisit my goals. (F.Y.I. they have several locations visit their social media page to find a location near you).

This month I wrote down these goals:
1) Travel to Miami/ Blog/ Photoshoot
2) Sell a minimum of 10 custom suits
3) Take a blogging class to gain more knowledge.
4) Take an image consultant class to further my knowledge as a stylist.
I am proud to say that I accomplished 75% of my goals for the month of May. Now, why am I sharing with you guys some of my personal goals? Well, I was having lunch with a friend, and he mentioned to me that he sometimes get scattered with what he wants to do. It’s hard for him to focus in life one thing at a time. In life, we want to be busy doing several things, and we end up accomplishing nothing on our list.

I noticed that we had that in common being scattered all over the place. So now I try to spend at least a minimum of one hour focusing on one task at a time. If you can unplug and focus on one task at a time, you will see more progress. We need to take away things that distracts us like cell phones, social media, and T.V. So I hope today that I inspired you to make a monthly goal and check in with yourself to see if you are working towards your goal weekly.

If you don’t accomplish everything, don’t beat yourself up. Just strive to make progress and in due time, you will start hitting those goals.
